LIMITED TIME OFFER – Amazon Prime Streaming Channel $0.99/month for 2 Months: Showtime, Starz, Epix, Lifetime, more!

Amazon Prime Day is held annually. There are also Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. It’s a great chance to do some shopping on a wide variety of items including premium add-on streaming channels.

Currently you can find a bunch of streaming channels available for $0.99/month for two months including: Showtime, Starz, Epix, Lifetime Movies and many more. You can cancel them after two months before they go back to full price, unless you decide to keep them.

Was expecting Amazon to offer more of these deals on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, but didn’t see any offers for the premium channels during those days. They had good discounts for the smaller streaming channels including CBS but nothing for the major ones: HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Encore and STARZ.

Noticed this deal on Amazon Prime Video this morning. You can get STARZ for $0.99/month for three months until 12/11/2019. With Jumanj: The Next Level — FIRST LOOK — coming up this weekend, you may want to rewatch/watch the first two movies: Jumanji ⭐️⭐️⭐️½ (free on Amazon Prime Video) and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (on STARZ).

A buck a month is a steep discount (89% off!) for this solid premium add-on streaming channel over the regular price of $8.99/month. I’m not making any affiliate revenue for this post, it’s just a friendly head’s up. You can keep track of deals I’ll post like this from time to time using ‘LIMITED TIME’ search.

Psycho (1960) made even the actress afraid of the shower

Alfred Hitchcock fans rejoice on Starz starting today, Friday October 11, the following 15 Alfred Hitchcock movies are available for instant streaming (thanks pastemagazine):

The Starz selection includes his best-known classics of suspense The Birds, Rear Window, Psycho ,Vertigo, as well as The Man Who Knew Too Much, Marnie, Rope, Saboteur, Shadow of a Doubt, Topaz, Torn Curtain, Frenzy, The Trouble with Harry, The Lady Vanishes and his final film released in 1976, Family Plot.

For me, I’ll never tire of watching one of the best black and white suspense films ever made, Psycho ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ or feel the terror invoked by The Birds.

My favorite shot in the shower is of Janet Leigh’s hand raking the tile.

There has probably never been a shot of a hand in a shower more perfectly timed than here

It’s hard to say anything done by human beings is “perfect” but I think Psycho is about as close as cinematically possible.
