O’Toole From Moscow is the title from a familiar author.
I don’t normally cover radio dramas here, but if it involves Rod Serling, it’s on the radar. The 1955 radio script was produced several years before The Twilight Zone and there are no known recordings of it that exist, so it’s being recreated to air on March 25, 2020.
It’s a screwball romp, with a side of whimsy: At the height of the Cold War in the 1950s, a Soviet Embassy worker fritters away time rooting for the Brooklyn Dodgers at Ebbets Field, then skips town with a comrade who suddenly becomes the greatest slugger ever for the Cincinnati Reds.Twilight Time: Long-lost Rod Serling baseball comedy on deck
