The Invisible Man ⭐️⭐️⭐️½

This movie took us both by surprise. Kara isn’t a big fan of horror and she actually gave this four stars in our video review (see below).

It doesn’t take the path of the scientist as the main character. Smart move considering recreating the awesome role Claude Rains played in the 1933 version would give difficult, if not impossible, comparisons.

Instead, this tells the story of Adrian’s wife, Cecilla (played skillfully by Elisabeth Moss), as the main character and how she deals with an abusive genius husband. In my review I called it, The Invisible Stalker, because that’s the story in a nutshell and it works well. His invisible torment of Cecilla is gripping. Camerawork of empty chairs and other furniture are creepy.

Cecilla’s harrowing, haunting journey is tense and thrilling. You want to see someone there … but they aren’t.
