Think if I see the goat milk gag one more time I’m going to throw up goat milk.

Rated R.

Tiffany Haddish, Rose Byrne, Salma Hayek.

Have seen a ton of previews for Like A Boss in the theater complete with the Goat Milk gag in the trailer.

Maybe more previews for this movie than any other coming in January 2020 and, yes, that includes Rise of Skywalker!

First time wasn’t funny, second time worse, twenty times later, it’s like come on.

Best friends Mia and Mel (Tiffany Haddish and Rose Byrne) are living their best lives running their own cosmetics company they’ve built from the ground up. Unfortunately, they’re in over their heads financially, and the prospect of a big buyout offer from a notorious titan of the cosmetics industry Claire Luna (Salma Hayek) proves too tempting to pass up, putting Mel and Mia’s lifelong friendship in jeopardy. The beauty business is about to get ugly.

And now it’s your turn to see the goat milk gag again and Salma Hayek talking about her breast size … neither of which even make me smile, much less laugh. Stay with me, there is some hope on the way …. but first:

Like A Boss official trailer

And now the Not Safe For Work (NSFW) trailer:

Like A Boss official NSFW trailer – no goat milk gag yay!!!

The f-bombs are flowing fast and free in this one. I think the profanity adds a grittiness to the subject matter. Much prefer this trailer to the sanitized one I’ve been watching ad nauseum in the theater.

Think my favorite character in the trailer is the gay man friend, when he puts his hands on the glass and gives that expression — funny! He has some humorous moments in the trailers. Let’s hope he is given a real character arc and they aren’t just using him for laughs. Make him do something important in the story … please!

Still not too excited about seeing this movie, it just seems silly and stupid and Tiffany Haddish’s nasally voice is like fingernails on the chalkboard. I wish the NSFW trailer was the one I’ve seen a couple dozen times, not the other one, because it’s better.

Are you looking forward to seeing Like A Boss in theaters, waiting for streaming or skipping altogether?

Like A Boss opens wide in theaters starting January 10, 2020.
